Nav disc outdated?

I live in Vegas and city growth is very common. Apparently the disc that came with my '06 is the original. Not sure if there is an updated disc. I heard from the non-Infiniti dealership that I bought my car from that I can buy a replacement disc from the distributor directly rather than from Infiniti and save a few dollars. I just don't know where to start looking or if there is even a newer disc for me yet.

Also, is there a way for my searches in Points of Interest can default to my city location? The region is correct, but it always looks for stuff in Cali first. I live in frickin' Vegas! Do I have to set that each time I do a search?

Bump this for any ideas.....Gets old trying to use a disc that doesn't show roads I'm looking for.

Ended up buying direct from Navteq for $190 plus shipping. Far cheaper, however, than straight from the dealership. $330 there!
