i'm creating this post for one simple reason,to find out what maximum horse power has been reached through natural aspiration(no turbos no forced induction)I'm mainly looking for individuals who have a KA24DE that is naturaly aspirated and they want to share there horse powerso one and all let me know!any other spec on power is cool to

The problem with the whole natural aspiration thing is that to make power with a naturally aspirated engine of a particularly small size you need some serious RPM.

and that is exactly the bane of the KA24 as it sits OEM. And performing serious modifications to it to attain these high RPM is usually more expensive and unreliable when compared to simply installing a different engine that is already designed for serious rpm AND turbocharging...

best N/A KA hp you should expect to find is going to be in the 200ish without completely redesigning the motor.

You'd be better of with an Infiniti G20 if you want to go NA.Just my opinion... but my G20 revs high and pulls harder in the upper RPMs.

the factory air intake isnt as bad as people think so i would go with the msd. made mine idle and respond much better. btw a cold air rather than a short ram makes a better torque difference so watch out when buying one. if you need anything else feel free to ask me.

ya, i was looking into the injen full air intake not any of the short ram bs.but at this point i think i'll go with the msd, but on their website there arent any listed for the s14; i see you have an s13 so i you probably wont know about s14 msd external coils.. what all have you done to your na car?

MSD systems are really universal..the ignition box anyways..just use the coil that the MSD system you buy recomends..or you will eat coils up learning the hard way...im running a MSD 6A box and the recomended coil...i like it alot man..i think you will too...if ya need to know the mod on how to hook it up..let me know and ill post a how to up on my myspace page for ya.
