Nasty Purple TINT :(

i have nasty purple tint on my 89 240sx so i reserched into how to take it off my self , and here is the best way i just did it on my 240sx yesterday and i have no more ugly purple tint!!!

take windex and soak the hell out of the windows. take black garbage bags and push up against the inside of the windows soaked with windex. let it sit out in the sun and in a few hours the tint will just peel off and if you do it right it wont leave any glue. i had cheap azz tint from autozone on my gs when i bought the car. it worked really well on the back window not having to scrap inbetween the defroster.

if there is any glue left (there shouldnt be much) jut take a razor blade and scrape it off!

Nice , thnx for the info...im taking my car down to a shop on thursday to get my old sh*t stripped and retinted 4%! its a lil late to scrap it myself..OH Well =]

i took mine off a couple of weeks ago. i bought this tint remaoval spray from pep boys and it worked really good. it took me about 45 min to take it off after it soaked and gave me no problems at all, it even came with a razor blade. now my windows are really clean and it looks good
