Nope I never scraped anything...roads are kinda smooth around here...and even if I come across a rough surface or anything I tend to go over it slowly like speed bumps and so forth.iamfrickeninsane wrote:maybe you simply bottomed out and scraped something, if you werent payin too much attention thats what may have happened, lol my friends mom thought something was broken in her car cuz every morning she would hear a loud bang and turns out she was running over a sewer cover in the road and didnt realize it hahaha
I haven't solved it...but it's weird because since I asked...most of teh noise has stopped lol...weird. One time I drove with my e-brake up...but that was a long time ago...so that couldn't be it. It's nothing serious but I will be checking it this weekend.shad0ws4saken wrote:I am having that same problem, I figured it was one of my calipers piston is stuck partially so it is causing the pads to vibrate but im not exactly sure...I was wondering if you have solved the problem and if you did what it actually was?
k well good luck and if you find anything out let me know cause i would really hate to spend the money for a new caliper and it end up being the differential lol...thankstopless94 wrote:

that's what the culprit was on my coupe. jack the car up pull the wheels off and look at the pads/rotors for uneven wear. chances are you have one or both calipers stuck. mine stopped making noise in reverse when both rear calipers locked up on me at 80mph. blew the MC and destroyed all the brake hardware and lines in the rear.shad0ws4saken wrote:I am having that same problem, I figured it was one of my calipers piston is stuck partially so it is causing the pads to vibrate but im not exactly sure...I was wondering if you have solved the problem and if you did what it actually was?
Yea I jacked it up today...my dad was wrong it wasn't the drivetrain. It was my left caliper. It was stuck. We took it out and cleaned it...fit it in properly and now it's good as new.icex01x wrote:

awesome, wish i had done that instead of drive on the highwaytopless94 wrote:Yea I jacked it up today...my dad was wrong it wasn't the drivetrain. It was my left caliper. It was stuck. We took it out and cleaned it...fit it in properly and now it's good as new.
Yea I took only the left wheel off because that's where the sound was coming from. The caliper was in need of some cleaning and it was stuck. I took it out and fixed it in properly.Spiker wrote:You just jacked it up and looked under it? Did you take ur wheel off and check ur rotors/pads. Your rotors/pads might be worn unevenly.
