Ok, guys. I attended another HPDE event today and it was a blast. I borrowed a friend's GoPro camera and thought I'd share a couple of my fastest laps with you guys. Both of these laps are in the 1:20.xx area. I'm not really sure how that compares to any of the other vehicles, but I know I got passed by a GTR, and a couple of M3's (all three vehicles were being driven by instructors. Overall, I feel pretty confident and satisfied with the way the car performed. Not too shabby for a four-door "luxury" car. Hahahahaha.

Anyways, enjoy.

HEY! Very nice!!! I've never been on a track, so how did it feel when you got back on the road. Feel like you were poking? DId it calm you down or make you want to go faster??

Yeah, when I went for lunch it felt like I was going like 20 MPH. But, it wasn't too bad. I was REALLY impressed at how consistent and predictable the new Nitto NT05's were. :D

Nice bro.

It looks like it was a hell of a time. I wish I was there to ride with you.

I'd like to try out my car on the track sometime too.

The next event is June 13th. But, it's at Firebird and I've never driven on that track. Plus it's going to be hot as balls. I'm just going to wait until the next event @ PIR, which is in September.

Nasa has a Florida chapter. Check out nasaproracing.com and look for the Fla. regional info. You drive Your own car, and beginners in Hpde1 get ride along instructors. It's the best and cheapest way to get track experience.

I'll go do the June 13 event if you guys will go too.

My biggest problem is getting my tools / jack / ramps / track wheels + tires down there.

If anyone from the West side is going, let me know.

You should have gotten a Sedan

I'll definately try to show up and watch. I'm not sure if I'll be driving, though....

I'm in Peoria.

Jerome is down in Goodyear.

I need to do a few checks on car temp to make sure its not running hot but then I'll be down.
