I've made a decision on what to replace my boring OEM wheels with. Color is the trouble now I'm stuck on the gunmetal but not too sure about how it would look with black. Silver is always a safe bet Whatya say my brothers?

Gram Light 57 Maximum in Gunmetal

or

"Bright Silver". The photo makes it shinier then they really are (I don't want bling)

your car color is black? if so, then i'd go with bright silver. unless you want the men-in-black theme, then go with light grey

Go with gunmetal imo. Those wheels are nice, I was going to get the Time Attack 57Max if I didn't get the wheels I have. But I figure, I am just going to powder coat them later.

All the "special edition" cars go w/ gunmetal

e.g) Nissan SE-R, Acura TL-S, Corvette Z06

Loop, the time attacks are sick.

I've been partial to gunmetal all along, but the few pictures I've seen of them look to have a hint of blue in them. Might be the lighting.

Looks like I'll be going against the grain, I like the bright silver. It's been my expierence, that pictures never do justice, especially when color plays a role in the item... the "gun metal" looks more like a grey/graphite, and while they do look a bit on the chrome side, the bright silver (again IMO) look like they will set of the stance more, especially if/when you lower it... just my .02

maybe ask someone to PS them onto your car or a black A/C to get a better idea...

Ooh...Tyler is finally getting some wheels! Gunmetal would look nice, but I think in about a year you'll be tired of the look. Silver is classic, and always will be.

I like the silver on a black car. Your car is dark color and adding dark color wheels?

What size are you getting?

The gunmetal would kind of blend in on the black car, and be the most subtle, almost disappearing. The silver and the time attack that Loop posted would stand out more. Silver would look very clean and subtle, and the time attack would provide a much more aggressive look. You could, however, go with the silver and later have the spokes painted in either black or gunmetal. The silver lip would set the rim off nicely. (Or go with the gunmetal and paint the lip silver, lol)--Well, thats my two cents. Its up to you to decide what look you are going for.

silver on black looks better to me. if the car was red or white i might say the gun metal, but that color looks darker than most other gun metal wheels i've seen.

Those gunmetal ones are gorgeous! I know a lot of EVO 8 guys who run those wheels on their cars. (And STI buys) and they are just a beautiful wheel.

congrats on at least narrowing it down to the style and make! Yeah, GUNMETAL would look pretty pretty!

Since its not quite black, I'd say the bright silver. It stands out more, and the gunmetal on a black car just looks dull.
