Hey, I just got my Nardi steering wheel installed. I ordered it from japan with S13 hub for 155 shipped. Anyway, I have a 92 240SX with HICAS and I need to figure out how to get the horn to work. The horn button wiring on the new wheel goes from the button and then it seems its soldered on to a big copper ring that goes around the end of the hub. While on my stock wheel the horn seems to just be pluged into a lil connector on this big black plastic bracket (which I needed to remove to install the new wheel). Any ideas?

The stock steering wheel uses contact slip rings as well, I think you need to take more stuff off.

Did you use a steering wheel puller tool?

You can rent one, the part number is: ST27180001 or J25726-A

Use a multi purpose grease on the turn signal cancel pins and contact rings when putting the new ring on.

I took off the actual wheel and then the black bracket with a three prong connector at the top and a lil plastic nub at the bottom. The nardi wheels fits perfect and it works with the turn signal cancels. There was no obvious connection to the horn with out that black plastic, behind it was just white plastic that make up the holes for the cancel pins and such.

I just used a 19mm socket.
