to any knowledgable nissan motor person...

i was wondering if i should put a sr20det engine or a nap-z (8 sparkplug) engine then turbo it... into my s13 fastback

if someone knows the power to weight ratio on these engines, and so fort

and let me know on your opinions on wat you would do?

i looked and found very little info on the nap z engine, what i did find mentioned nissan trucks and whatnot. either way, the SR is a much more common swap which means there will be more information and parts avaliable. that alone makes it worthwhile. you can get quite a bit of power out of an SR, as for the nap-z, you may be heading into uncharted waters.

as for the power to weight, the SR ia all aluminum and i assume the nap z is iron. so the SR is probably lighter and has been proven to reach amazing power levels.

What's wrong with your current KA...why not turbo it?

Better than a Nap-Z, for sure.

all i kno, my friend's 720 hardbody clocks 13 sec all stock on the 1/4 mile, but it burns like a v8 because of its 2 spark plug per cylinder system, so 8 spark plugs total... i'm not to sure of the weight on that truck but with that known, turboing a nap-z to me sounded pretty intense to think of the potential, but then again, there isn't to much info on parts, and upgrades on it i agree, and the ka is cool, but i have the SOHC one so i figure swap it out anyways, but if i had the twin cam one, i would keep it longer, so yah, thnx for replying
