Nankang Tires...anyone have them on a coupe?

Fellow Nuts,

I am considering buying new rims for my 6MT coupe and the place is recommending a set of Nankang NS II tires on Niche rims. the rims will look great I am a little concerned over the rubber. I personally have never heard of them before and they are made in China. The tread pattern looks good and they will look nice but any insight on performance is appreciated.

The car is a daily driver on mostly highway travel with the love for Houston's on ramps and twisties. Faster the better.

I used to have NS2's on my Mitsubishi FTO, they were pretty good tires and lasted forever, however, it only had 150KW on a 1100kgs body, so it wasn't as powerful as a G.

Oh, and by the way, they are (or at least were), made in Taiwan.
