Ok I was connecting my motors wires back up and I came to this.... what the hell is it and where does it go!? I can't find the connection anywhere. Thanks all!
hahaha dude thats a very good question.. i have no clue... i swap ka's and wiring and i have the same plug but I left it unplug and it seems to run fine without it plugged in.. no check engine light.. so I'm just thinking its something stupid and pointless because i dont know what the heck it is either.. but maybe we both will find out soon once other people post.. hehe : )

why not just hook pete up? or another ground to replace him? or pair him with Elaine... but seriously why would nissan waste time and materials for something that doesn't do anything...

seanc... why would nissan waste time.. because they do... nissan adds a lot of stupid parts on our cars that we don't even need.. like take for explain... upper timing chain guide... that was a pointless part all it does is break and when ya remove it the car still runs fine without it. that's just one explain.. i can name a few others that nissan didn't need to add.
and this whole ground wire plug it must be nothing big.. i mean what the hell is it gonna ground to...it's not like its going to the car battery or ecu because if it did then my car wouldn't run or start. i left it unplug for 7 months and my car starts fine and runs fine.
i'm just gonna leave the plug go because 1... so far i don't really need it i have no problems. and 2.. i can't even find it on the firewall where it gets plugged into.
yea your motor runs fine because it is grounded else where but it could still help i mean my friends honda has a few motor mounts it does not need them all but they are still connected because they seem to work better the more he has and could keep bad things from happening if one went out

Hook it up!, even install more grounding straps and distribute them around the engine.Try this, with a ohm-meter measure resistance thru several points of the engine.
Try to reduce resistance across the engine. you will have a smoother and more efficient engine!!
