Name this piece

Having trouble figuring out exactly what this piece is. It seems to be a part of the A/C system but me and my buddy can't quite figure out what it is, or the part of the harness that hooks up to it. I'm thinking it may have been cut, since the car didn't have A/C when I bought it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thats the AC Drier.

The factory AC fan harness hooks up to that.

and if there is nothing to hook up to them will the system not work???

Just curious because if that's the case it'll prolly have to be hard wired

If there is nothing hooked up to the pressure switch on the drier then the system will not function. The pressure switch basically tells the compressor its safe to turn on if there is enough refrigerant in the system, and to cycle off when there is too much pressure.

so how should I hard wire this piece back in? My harness was cut obviously, so I have no idea where to run the wires.

hmm, S14s are hard to find in junkyards and Im not sure if an S13 would have the same connector. call around. Ive gotten pigtails from people online that are doing complete part-outs, thats probly the best bet.

So what does it wire back into is my biggest question? I can just hard wire it if I knew where to run the wires. The guy I bought the car from half assed every single aspect of this car so I believe that he just cut the parts of the harness off that he wasn't using. So I have no clue where to run the wires to.
