Hey Zozo, guys, I too have recently had to replace my front driver side wheel bearing assembly.
It cost around $200 for the part (Canadian) and I had it installed when I upgraded my rotors and pads to slotted, so I can't accurately quote the install.
From my understanding, if I didn't know a mechanic to preform the work, I would have just tackled it myself.
I think if it's a wheel bearing you may notice it come and go during turns, as the force/pressure while cornering will be sent from one tire to the next and vice-versa, depending on which side is in need of repair.
