They look to be a high offset, my shot in the dark guess would be an American Racing, Alba, or maybe a Primax wheel.Just guessing though.

I have one set of wheels I had powder coated straight out of the box. The problem is, the tire mounting machine scraped up a nice little chip in the coating. Not really noticeable because of the tires rim bead, but the coating is damaged, and further chipping is possible. Now today, I had a tire removed from 1 of my Competitions, sprayed it down with aircraft stripper and cleaned it off real good. I have re-painted it gold with Dupli color #1604. Its a little rough but overall the color looks good, the wheel itself looks GREAT this color, and I can always touch up any damage.

where did u get aircraft paint remover and Dupli-color? never seen any at hardware stores before...

wait you used the paint remover to get rid of the powder coating?? or to clean off the dirt and stuff off the wheels? cuz these wheels are veryyyyyyyyyy dirty and have like a inch of brake dust on them

Sorry, let me clarify. I am a wheel whore.I have multiple set of wheels, and I have always wished the Comp. was available in gold. I have a set of 16" wheels that I will be experimenting on. Practically new; they have been mounted only once with sticky tires, and I run them only occasionaly anyways sooooo....As for your new jewels, some simple green a scrub brush and a 6 pack. The paint stripper I bought at Advance Auto, though I have seen it in different variations at auto parts stores. Expect to pay between $4- $8 a can. USE GLOVES!!!Dipli-color, also at auto parts stores. About $5 a can.

You dont specifically need the stripper. Wash them down real good, then wetsand the surface with some 460 grit or a red scotch brite pad. You want to give the whole surface a good scuffing.Yes Dupli Color is an aerosol. Use several light coats. You can then finish them off with some black laquer or a clear coat. Just make sure you let the paint cure for several days before mounting tires. That will help prevent chipping.
