is it coolant?? I'm guessing from the rust color that it is. I know the Sr has coolant lines on the intake side under the manifold. But yeah it's coolant but I wouldnt really have a name for it. I'd just take the broken hose to autozone or whatever or even I'm sure at Autozone their comps show the car parts and just match it!! or worst cause a junkyard or hell evena nissan dealership and they'll have a complete diagram fo the engine and just point out the hose

that's effing gay!!! Yeahi've had some stupid BS like that. But yeah it's a collant line, it should be cheap. Like yousa id hopefully you have enough slack so you can put it back on and get home and then make your way to an auto part store to replace it. How long as the car been down now?? If you were in Nor-Cal i'd give you a ride lol

You can actually bypass the throttle body completely. Just remove the other coolant hose going to the throttle body and plug it into the pipe that the broken hose used to go to. You may need to buy some bulk hose the same diameter if it isn't long enough to do so.

When I rebuilt my motor and deleted all my emission equipment, the throttle body hoses were deleted too.Of course I Live in SoCal and have no need to warm the air going into my engine.

since i didnt have an extral long coolant hose around, i was frucked...

so i took a min. looking it... and bamm!!! i connected the two bypass hoses togeter.

how you say?

well i had to put them together some how right?

i strait cut a pen... yes a pen.... good old classic pen from work..

4 inches of it... took all the pen guts out...

instant connecting tube letting water pass... took me home with no problem....
