Will have to pull out those early 90's C&D issues, but the wheels in question were called Saturn Plus by OZ Racing. They were also sold as a MSW brand but the name may have been different. OZ Italy also produced the Fittipaldi brand wheels. I remember them being on what looked like a Bordeaux Pearl Q45 that was in Turbo Magazine (probably a Steve Millen project car) back in 95 or 96. I bet they've been out of production for some time. Could be wrong though...Accelerating The Future...:freak...Danisiti 1

Wow Tg you are good.:fruit
Wes, they are currently off the car since I have my winter fit on, they have kumho ecsta 712's on the rear(in great shape) and Toyo Proxy TS-1 on front.
The edges on the Toyos are worn despite only 12,000 miles on them.
Wes:I might consider selling them (with the tires on) if the offer is good enough.

Not yet.My winter set up is the OEM 15 inch turbine wheels which I bought with nearly no miles on from a NICO memebr. They were take-off of a 1996 Q45.
Small wheels by todays standards but light and strong. Also in this size its a lot easier to find afffordable winter tires than in my summer wheel size(s).

I gotta jump in...they are actually the MSW Type 55C's. The regular Type 55's had the exposed lug nuts with a black MSW center cap. The C's had the lugnut cover as PalmerWMD has.

Ok, I just assumed that as close as you might try to match the OD, the TCS system would see them as different. I thought I recall one expert saying new tires on one axle versus "worn" ones on the other could be seen as a difference.

1) thats a function of different total diameters between wheels.you can easily have 17 wheels in front and 18 in rear if you use lower profile tires in rear to match frontal diameter.2)No, but ABS uses the same sensors as TCS and if there was a prob my ABS light would come on.

After further searching, the only things I can tell you is the 15x7 weighs 22lbs and that a set of 16x7 went for about $700 (w/ tires) back in 1999, I did find a set that sold for $400 (rims only) as late as 10/2002.
In short, as a discontinued rim, it's worth as much as the seller will take or the buyer will give.
