Hey guys i just went outside and decided to look at my tires and see if they were wearing even when I noticed a silver thing in my tire. I realized it was a nail, but I have no idea how long its been there. How much do you think a shop would charge to patch it?

Shouldnt be more than 15 bucks, I have had that happen to me a few times. Make sure that you are paying for them to dismount the tire and patch it from within, because if they will just stick a plug in it, you might as well do that yourself it takes like 2 minutes and I don't think the kits are very expensive.

be really careful doing this the tire is only going to be safe now up to 100 mph if you go over that regularly or even every now and then get a new tire thats what i do when i get a nail.

$10 to $20. What they need to do is, take the tires from the wheel and patch the hole inside the tires. Make sure it's patch not plug and balance your tire after.
