NAACP is mad because a talking greeting card about the solar system mentioned "Black holes". The NAACP interpreted it to say "black whores".




My email to them:

Subj: Thank you - greeting card

Thank you for getting this offensive card off of store shelves. As a member of planet earth, I am frightened at the possibility of the appearance of a black hole. A supermassive black hole of more than 4 million solar masses is located near the Sagittarius A region in the center of the Milky Way galaxy and I don't think that's a laughing matter.

The people complaining seem like they have nothing better to do than to sit around all day and find minor things like this to complain about. I find it funny how convinced they are that it says "Whores". You can clearly hear in the recording an "L" sound. Bunch of old fogies complaining about nothing... and making themselves look stupid in the process.

Once someone proves that it does not say "Whores" are they going to go after their hearing aid companies for making words that would otherwise be acceptable, profane?
