If i spelled the title wrong i'm sorry, I also hope transferability is an actual word.

That aside

So when i get my G Hopefully 05 newer 6mt

I will not so turbo right away, as i have other obligations to pay and pursue.... however I will have some money to throw at my G.

Bread and butter: Are there mods i can do along the lines of keeping the engine NA, that will have a profound effect when i do decide to go FI?

Or is it one or the other?

This will mostly be my baby for at least 10 years so patience is my friend.

You could do exhaust mods...they will transfer to an FI'd car. If you're looking to go with the stillen, don't do headers. The roots-type charger needs backpressure.

Internal mods, such as pistons, heads, and a CAM would also complement a FI'd car.

DONT do headers if you want to go with a turbo setup...

Pistons you might want to hold off on, For FI you might want to use LOW COMPRESSION pistons to take advantage of the FI system being able to run high boost

Get intake \ exhaust , maybe a fuel pump upgrade that will also keep the engine from running to lean on N\A ( With "SOME" N\A mods , not all )

By the way Check out my Turbo guide , it will help you make your decision lickity split

You could get stuff like lightweight pulleys, beefier clutch, lightweight flywheel, and even a better radiator. I know it is not really a performance item, but increased cooling is never a waste of money, and it will come in handy when you have two turbos spinning at a billion rpm under your hood.
