i don't know much about 300zx's right now, but i plan on learning more about them from this forum and i was wondering since i can't find a TT to put in it if i bought a GReddy TT upg kit and filled in the missing parts would it work?or do i have to buy a new engine? It's a 5-spd with only 89k miles on it so i'm not wanting to replace a practically new engine. Thanks For The Help!

Welcome to Nico!the problem with adding the turbo's top the N/A especially the upgraded turbo's is they N/A engine is much higher compression ratio, I thinkt he turbo is around 8.5:1 and the N/A is about 10.2:1 pr there abouts, also the turbo's have larger fuel injectors you can do it but you have to keep the boost low and you'll want an ecu mapped accordingly, a little less timing and a little more fuel to keep it safe you could always just swap in some turbo pistons and fuel injectors, and I'm not familiar with the greddy kit but I'd assume it includes to sort of ecu mod and a fuel controller or larger injectors?

Why would you buy an uppgrade kit, you can't even run full stock boost. Buy some used turbos if you are going to cheap it or at least stock ones. You won't get the full TT experience and you can't upgrade turbos (or at least it makes no sense). Btw you will get smoked still by the big HP guys i.e. Tuned Twin Turbo 300zxs, supras, Sti's, Evos, and modded F-bodies.

Go TT, save up, it will save you $ in the long run and be happier
