Hey guys I was asked what NA stands for and I couldn't answer. I know it means no forced induction but what does it actually stand for?

i see it being used two different ways, but they mean the same thing. theres naturally aspirated (this is the one i use), and then theres also normally aspirated.

Wow, you are lucky everyone is so nice and kind around here. I know a few places that you would get banned for asking that question. Haha. I have never heard of it being called normal aspiration just naturally, who is to say boost is un-normal if it came that way on a stock car.

It means NATURALLY ASPIRATED.

Not normally. I have never heard of normally aspirated, i think someopne substituted the word when they couldnt think of the correct term.

You won't see it as much around here but NA also denotes a first generation Mazda Miata. With the second gens being NB and third (next years hopefully) being NC.
