There are most definitely aftermarket pistons and cams and other NA stuff. I believe someone is working on the Intake Manifold right now because that's pretty weak point of the KA. But even with all the high compression and incredibly radical cams and major head work, you'll be lucky to break 200rwhp. =\

i'm sure if you bore it out, or get a stroker kit, and port and polish your head, you'll get pretty impresive gains, than also the whole valvetrain, and lighter flywheels etc.

btw does anybody know if there are such things as carbon fiber drive shafts? if so do they make these for the 240?

u can have custom made carbon fiber driveshafts made. enjuku makes a one peice aluminum 11lb DS for about half the cost of what a carbon fiber would cost.

a stroker kit for a KA? Sounds like a tragedy waiting to happen. No, i dont believe you'd want to get or could even find a stroker kit for a KA. There have been a number of posts saying that you need to DEstroke the KA when you want to go for more power.

Anyway i tell you now SEARCH. I myself used to have one hell of an n/a setup and there is plenty of stuff around here to help you.

There's a dude on club240 who had a friend in florida help build his engine, and he's all NA and claims his s13 automatic runs 13's, so yeah, I guess it is possible.

for all intesive purposes the KA is already "stroked", thats why it makes such a great flat torque curve.
