how much could i sell my na engine for (if i could even get rid of it) if i do a tt conversion? i guess i'm thinking about doing a conversion b/c i just realized that i might be able to afford it in a month or two. that jhotimports place is like 2 hours away from me and they include intercoolers and transmission for like1299 i could obviously pick the engine up and i wouldnt pay anyone to drop it in so what do you guys think i'm really looking at $$wise?

it looks pretty clean:

the trick is finding a buyer, if you can find someone in need of the engine you could get $500, however ifyou can't find a buyer it's worthless, got a local guy can't seem to sell one for $100, the problem is most people who pop their motors swap in the TT motor, kinda cuts downaon that market, and the fact that the VG isn't prone to failure unless severly abused or neglected keep the markey small

if i were you i'd try and find a shop in your area that sells jdm motors, most likely they will take your n/a motor and give you a discount on the price of your new motor, thats what im doing, im getting my vg30dett for 1000 and giving them my na motor, normally it would be about 1500, im not sure if this is an option for you tho. but ya, its gonna be hella hard for yout to find someone who will buy your na vg, especially if it has high mileage.
