While searching Ebay...I came across what looks like a after-market Nissan Consult that claims to do almost everything the real Nissan Consult 2 does but at a fraction of the price, 10% to be exact.

First I can safely assume that what they are doing is illegal (patent infringement).

It claims to be update-able like the real Nissan Consult, but this one uses different software.

The instruction manual claims that it has the ability to do everything but Work Support (Set the AAC*-IACV*, TPS and stop the fuel pump relay). But it may support but they forgot to mention it so who knows for sure unless you have one.

This is what I think is the manufactures website: http://www.uiftech.com/ As you can see they make many more manufacture specific electronics (Nissan Consult like devices).

Here are some people that sell the device: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/eBay-Motors ... 282&_rdc=1

Here is the instruction manual: http://www.alpha-bid.com/media/Product- ... N_N607.pdf

So has anyone tried it or does anyone think its worth the money ~$200 shipped from the UK or China?

Depends on how good the active tests are. If it is a true duplicate of the Consult, it's a bargain - but I doubt that's the case based on the horrible engrish translation in the manual.

All I care about is the Power Balance test. :)
