I was looking around at different parts places and I noticed a skyline MAFS from a GTS-t. Has anyone ever worked with these?I would think they would, But I don't know S@#%.

They don't resolute as much as the Z32 MAF.

The Z MAF's are not that expensive, save yourself the hassle and just buy one.

I am weary about the Z32 because of how sensitive it is. I totally agree with the dude that did the supra MAFS. I have been looking for other MAFS from other turbo cars. I was wondering what else could be used but still allow for custom fine tuning later. I was debating getting the enthalpy ECU but he only tunes for N60 and 62. So that right there rules out either the ECU or the MAFS. I also don't know if I trust myself with a wideband and an SAFC II. I was thinking about the supra MAFS and getting the SAFC II and going to a dyno and letting them tune it. What do you think?

Before doing that I would call around and see if the dyno shops will even tune the safc II. I live in oxnard ca and I called every dyno shop in oxnard and ventura and no one knew how to tune it or would tune it.

I'd be willing to fly down to FLA and tune it for you.

Shoot me an email if you'd like to discuss this further.

I swapped in a 300ZX MAF into my GTS-t while I was in Japan...so no sense swapping a GTS-t MAF into anything.

*back from the dead*

i thought i purchased an N62 MAF off of a buddy of mine seeing as i watched him pull it straight from his z. it took me until now to realize it's only N60. will it make a difference if my ecu is tuned for the Z32 MAF and now the maxima maf? what's the difference?

It won't run correctly. n60 and n62 maf have different voltage curves. you should have noticed it from the get-go: it clearly says n60 or n62 on the tag.

i didn't think to look when i got it from him seeing as he pulled it out of his car right in front of me, haha. i'm getting a wideband anyways so maybe i can just get that tuned up after i drop the ecu in and hit the dyno for the tune on the wideband anyways. is the n60 as effective?

From what Ive read, the N60 is good for somewhere between 300-350whp.

You could use an SAFC to correct for it, I believe. At least until you can source a real N62. They are the same physical size so it should be simple to swap the Z MAF in.
