hey I have been looking into N2O, I have been reading that Water injection makes N2O safer and is better for the motor. I was wondering how I would install one of the http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_in ... ts_id=1576Snow kits + the Dual throttle body N2O kit. Does the water injection kit work with dual throttle bodies? If so would you have the N2O and fuel nozzles before or after the water nozzles on the throttle bodies? Thanks in advance. Z32s forever!

Meth/water injection is useless if you are already running nitrous unless you are running a huge shot. Water meth helps by cooling the intake charge and raising octane and the amount of oxygen in the charge, Nitrous works by cooling the intake charge and adding oxygen to the charge. See a pattern? A dry kit raises the fuel pressure to add a bit more fuel as the nitrous adds additional oxygen. A wet nitrous kit adds fuel allowing you to run more nitrous which is adding more oxygen. meth/water injection is great for highly boosted engines as charge temp is a real issue, on a n/a with nitrous it's just wasteful.

The way I understand it, which is probably wrong :-) is that n2o lowers intake temp but raises cylinder temp and can cause detonation. Water/Meth cools both intake and cylinder temp and helps you not have to retard the timing so far. I have been reading that they complement each other very well but if you think I can get away with a 75 shot on a healthy motor with proper afr and timing then that makes one less thing for me to pay for haha!

Nitrous is fun but it's easy to get greedy and break stuff. If you want power T swap or just sell this car and get a TT they are cheap these days.

Yeah I'm looking for a TT. This NA's body is shot so its resale value is poop. I just want to mess around with it till I get a TT. They are pretty cheap but super hard to find. Max I'm going to do is 100 shot but I think I'm sticking with a 75. Just want to see what kind of power I can get out of a NA with boltons+N2O. Going to install a Wideband with gauge to get the AFR right. and Comp check the motor. Go with cold NGK #7 Spark plugs,Have a Pop charger and Aluminum intake pipes on the way. Just picked up a Stillen Catback for $300 bucks. Get some Headers and some High flow cats. Mabye some test pipes. Just have fun. The last NA I had I was to scared to do anything to Power wise. It was clean and I liked it alot . This one not so much. While the TT hunt continues I just want to have some fun.

Wet kits are a bit mroe dangerous as you have a mix of fuel and Nitrous in your plenum, one bent valve and boom.

Yeah I have heard, but the car has brand new injectors and I'm not going up in size for a dry kit. If it blows I honestly won't be heart broken. It has been sitting in my yard with only a crank and drive every week or so for almost a year now. about time to have some fun with it. And when all is said and done whatever I buy for this will be transferred to the TT when I find one, Besides the headers and such that won't fit. I'm going to be as careful as I can but I'm not gunna break the bank on something that is just a weekend toy. I'm going to get everything as perfect as I can and hope for the best. I'll be back with results in a month or so. This shipping takes forever.

You wouldn't oversize the injectors iweh a dry kit you increase fuel pressure which increases the amount of fuel that comes out with each pulse. That's why dry shots are generally only around 50 shot.

I'll do some looking into that, Thanks for the tip. Now my Car just threw a dreaded code 34.... So the N2O will have to wait till I get that worked out. And it just started idling like crap. So time for the usual suspect investigation. IACV,Throttle Body,Vacuum leaks and the Detonation sensor wiring. Mabye something to do with the PTU?
