n2o & JWT cams....

good idea or bad idea. basically what i am wondering is if i am going to have any kind of detonation or anything to that extent?

the second thing that i am wondering is if i do decide to go with the cams would i have to replace the valve train or could i still use the stock valves and springs?

also another thing. how would the lightened crank pulley affect my engine temp and would i lose power by running it with the n2o also would i run the risk of overheating the engine b/c of the stress being put on the water pump by the pulley.

this combo would work get if you got the JWT ECU with it. Ryan at one time 1fastaltima on altimas.net ran a 13.1 with all the bolt ons with the jwt cams and a 65 shot of nitrous. if he ran a wet kit he could of maybe ran a little better.

i forgot that little detail. if i right remember somebody said you can swap out the intake manifold & ecufrom a 1st gen. or you can wait for the AEM EMS for the Altima coming out soon

Ask Brian - Ultimatuc, who swapped his obd2 97.5 altima with a 2000 engine, and I think brian went to obd1 conversion as well. 2000 altima engine is probably the best (out of all ka24de)...

what is up Rey!

I have the jwt cams, and they destroy our low torque curve. I would only suggest them if you have a high rev limit and the ability to tune.

so basically the cams are more duration than they are lift, i was kind of hoping to increase the torque curve a little bit more and get some higher end with it but i guess that is just asking a little to much of jwt, and the alty. im just gonna boost it and get the aem ems soon.
