So yea just as it states I gonna move all my **** from one car to the other. This is going to take awhile with school in all and be a big pain in my ***. Ill start posting pics tomorrow of where I am now.

Damage, It actually bent part of the frame

So im calling it a night even though this warm weather is amazing and it will probably be colder soon. I got the whole interior stripped in the old red car. Dennys car is for the most part stripped so ill be swapping all my interior including dash, carpet ect... New Car

Started off today by getting the new car stripped out. Got the seats out then dropped the steering column and pulled the dash. The old carpet is the nastiest **** ever so pulled it and got the black carpet in. I dont have good lighting at all and obviously no heat in the garage so these lights and this space heater saved my lifeBlack carpet inStarted snowing so I packed it in

So i havent had time to work on this the past 4-5 days due to a second x-mas and medical incident. The interior is for the most part doneWhile stripping the new car I mad a dumb choice and cut a zip-tie towards me and paid a price. I was in the emergency room for 3 hours before the doctor stopped the bleeding enough to stitch. I cant really move my finger and the joint is very swollen. I also have lost the feeling in the left part of my finger from the cut up to the tip due to nerve damage,Caught these turds sniffin each others buttsFirst thing I had to do is move the car over and clean up the **** bomb of a garage.CrapNow it seems to be tolerable, I added 5 more lights so I can actually see.Pimpin aint easygot the both on stands and started swapping spenchNismo tension rodsThe screwin tension rod wouldnt come out, even pounded on it with a sledge hammer for 20 mins, gotta get out the saws-all tommorrowThis is how I ended for the night

Colder than **** out today so I only did about a half day. Started off by getting some metal blades for the saws-all and after 2 hours got the bastard out. I seriously hope this never happens to any of you.So After I got that done i was to button up the front suspension without bleeding the brakes as I still have to swap over the 300zx MC. finished painting the calipers last night as well.Got the bumper and 1 fender off the red car, the other had a lot of damage and I couldnt get it loose. I m going to keep the driver side fender on the blue/gray car because it is still good, held on almost completely by zip-ties, but good.I had to swap over the bumper support and got it even on both sides and discovered the full damage that was done by previous owner, nothing all that bad a welder cant fix. Good thing I dont have one, ill have to wait until I paint it. The headlights were mounted poorly due to broken bolts, so I drilled more holes and mounted them firmly and got rid of the bracing non-sense. While doing this I drilled into a harness so I get to deal with that tomorrow, FAAAACK.And ill start the day off tomorrow with this

I like that you took the time to clean up the garage! Staying organized is 25% of any job if you ask me ^^

The cars are looking great!

And really sorry to hear about your finger. But if it makes you feel better after seeing your finger and knowing you lost feeling, it is burned into my head to never make that mistake so thanks ( I am not being an *** i am being serious ).

One Love,

Ghasty

My dad took the SLR so im using some really ****ty camera and I hope the pics work and photobucket doesnt size them all weird. I only work for like 4-5 hours today because I obviously had to sleep until 1pm then screw around until 2, then work for 3 hours then eat and fug around for like an hour in the garage and called it a night; Im so productive :toothless. First thing at hand was lose the 15/16 BMC and get the 17/16 installedI got the front all buckled up and a few odds and ends taken care of. Relocated both side fender harnesses, denny did one side but in anal about that stuff so I re-did it to my liking. This is what took the longest. I had to swap suspension from one car to another and back so they would swap. This wasnt that hard as ive done it defore. Jic magic RUCAS and coils installed and calipers cleaned and sprayed black as well. Then got the wheels bolted up with a 5mm spacer so 17x9 +23 effectively. The car is not lowered in this pic, I thought I took one of it one the ground but didnt, ill snap one tomorrow. Here are the plans for tomorrow.PEACE

Curious, its the perfect time. While your stripping the parts of the new car why don't you clean up everything and paint the wheel wells, control arms, ect. All the little stuff? Or clean the parts before you put them on. Its easier to do now then later.

I did degrease the parts but this Iowa, and years of grime and road salt made the parts the way they are, I got them the best I could, Plus I dont really care. This car isnt a show car and I like to beat it up a lot. Its built to be driven not be a beauty queen.

Im eating dinner so ill update a few things. I got off by getting the 36mm hub bolt taken off. Stupid me took off the brake before I broke it loose so I had to use a crow bar in between the studs to break it. Then got the nut offThen Bang that rotor with a spiked bat Bllaahhh!!!!!!! It will come off.Loosen 4 19mm bolts the unbolt the hub. You will need to find some way to rotate the axle so you can get at all then. Then beat the **** out of it from the back at diferent angles till you feel it pop, then pull it off.Unbolt 2 12mm buts on top of the strut tower with a deep socket. Then unbolt the 17mm nut on the bottom and hammer the strut a few times and it will drop.Just for fun, the custom speaker holder setup that previous owner had inUnbolt 19mm nut and bang bolt out of RUCA.Use a 17mm to get the rear one off, using a breaker bar is almost a must for these bolts.Keep in mind when putting it back the bolt and washer have groves and only go on i way so dont force it if it isnt lined upSwitched out to NISMO 50mm studsStockOne installedThe preffered method is 3/4" wrench, adjustable wrench, washer and nut lol.More later, on another note neighbor is getting increasingly more mad at me for pissing in her yard.

Yea man, I hate most people in this world. I actually didnt know it was illegal to have a non-running car on your property until a few days ago.

As of right now this isnt to exiting I know. A few large engine additions will be added as well as paint. This thread will be on going

Got the suspension done and waiting on a caliper to dry before installation then brakes must be bled tomorrow and then body alignment/work beginsStitches came out today, I dont think this looks normal
