Nissan. That is where evry one I have seen ordered is ordered from, directly from Nissan. I know of no distributor.

n1 block is fcking beastly compared to a stock rb26 block, has extra reinforcement and metal where it counts.

thanks guys. i was thinking about getting an N1 and building it with an hks 2.8L stroker, tomei cams and all that...but now seeing how much the block alone costs, i think i ll just get a clip and build that up....

speakin of clips and engines, which is better- to get a clip, or to get just the engine/ trans?

Clips are most times more complete and in better cindition. But they go for mutch more. Just get engine and trans from reputable shop with uncut harness and ecu. If your going 2.7 you wount need all the stock hoopty ha.

Seriously, for the cash you'll drop to go all out jdm build on an N1 block, you could have a (illegal) skyline...

RBMotoring has one in stock right now. Asking price is $2000. Check out http://www.rbmotoring.com and look in the used parts section. The block is new but it's listed there.
