First off, I am not a computer person, and this is the first time I have posted on a forum. So be nice, lol

I recently swapped a redtop into a S13. A buddy did the wiring, so I am not sure how well it was done. Here is the issue: The car gets power when the key is turned to ACC, but the fuel pump and igniton see no 12V. The motor turns over if I jump the starter off of the battery, but that is the extent to which I can get the motor to respond.

Clutch switch and igniton cylinder are verified working, so that is not the problem. I am stumped and any leads would be apprectiated. Also, I have several friends helping, so get as technical as you want and they can decipher for me. Thanks guys!! BTW, great site! I hope to become a useful member!!

I'm now helping him work on this.

When we turn the key to ACC, the relay clicks so at least part of the car is getting juice. All lights work, but we get no response from the SR. I'm thinking that the ECU may be jacked, but I am not totally sure as I have only looked at it for about 15 minutes in the dark last nite. Any leads for us to start chasing would be super.

I got lucky and other than #2 and #3 injector plugs being backwards, my CA fired right up after the swap.

You need to check and see if your seeing voltage on some of your main wires like injectors, tps, spark, or anything the ECU would control also check to make sure your internal harness plug is wired correctly.
