Hello. I bought a 93 240sx hatch with superhicas 1 month ago.Been driving and testing it all this time and, while I feel it very comfortable for high speed driving, it feels a little bit weird for drifting.I want to ask all other fellow hicas owners this: Is there a certain speed range I must reach in order to make minimize the effects of the rear wheels steering?

I am planning on removing the system in the future but, meanwhile, also want to learn how to handle it. I am tired of spinning while trying to make a simple donut. -sigh-

Thanks.

Hicas sucks for drifting, thats why they make a hicas cancel rod. You should buy one if you dont have the money to get rid of the whole system, but please be aware that this will put a strain on your power sterring. Best to get rid of everything, but if you keep small rims 16 and under it should not be a problem. If you plan to get rid of it in the future, i would just buy the rod now and get used to the driving then get rid of everything. Hope this helps..

Yeah, thats exactly what I am planning to do... buy one elimination rod.Just wanted to see if anyone else has some experience on the speed needed for the minimizing the effects of hicas while drifting.

I have had no chances to take the car to the track and find it myself, lots of work to keep this expensive hoby
