Hey guys!

I am happy to be NICOclubs's newest member. Just got a new G37s Coupe and coming from a decade old Mazda, it is quite a nice difference! My only question is in regards to the navigation package's iPod interface. I can't for the life of me seem to get it to just play random tracks in a playlist. This may be the dumbest question in history but how do you do this? I am new to iPods so I am no iTunes expert but I created a smart playlist that contains all the music and enabled track shuffle on the iPod. It just goes sequentially down the list with whatever sorting I last had when syncing with iTunes. What else needs to be done?

Thanks!

Hey bluesk1d this is what I found for you, let me know if this is what you were looking for.

When your cars playing the ipod, try and hit the SCAN RPT button when a track is playing. Theres a few types of shuffles you can use, such as Album shuffle, which puts a random song in the album, or TRK(track) shuffle which puts a random song from any album on. Make sure under TRK SHUFFLE or ALBUM SHUFFLE it says ALL RPT instead of RPT OFF.

Let me know if this helps

Even though it was already set to shuffle Track/Repeat All via the iPod, once I used the Scan/Rpt button to cycle through the other options and back to it, it started working. Thanks!
