n00b in southern central PA

hey all, just bought myself an Altima this week. i got a pretty good deal on an '07 2.5 S with 33K miles. i've had a little prior experience with Nissans... my mother-in-law had an '05 or so Maxima and a '98 or so Altima, both of which I drove quite a bit. and when i got married in 1994, i pretty much took over my wife's '92 Sentra SE coupe. and way back in high school, my mom had an '85 Sentra wagon... i'll never forget driving that one back from Florida to NY when i first got my license. anyway...

i was looking for a sensible used sedan as a second car for a big family. i thought i would end up with an Optima or Sonata, because that's what was in my price range. then i came upon this Altima... the price was right, the miles were low, so i grabbed it. i was a little hesitant because i have no experience with CVTs, but between reading everything i could find online in the last few days and driving it around, i'm completely convinced i did the right thing. looking forward to learning more from the community here and maybe adding some interesting upgrades to the car as time and $$$ allow...

and yeah the CVT is quite a trip the first couple weeks , being so used to a regular transmission. youll find a lot of help here
