I have been thinking a lot lately and I'm not sure which route to go. I'm guessing the FI route is cheaper? (at least from reading it seems to be.) I don't want crazy, stupid horsepower just want to make my 3.5 a bit quicker. My plan for N/A is to get a used VQ.35DE and get it re-dipped etc and build the motor outside the vehicle so my car doesn't have to sit. This is where I am having trouble making a decision. From what I have been reading our bottom end ( us 3.5ers) is very strong so I wasn't planning on building the bottom end. I don't want to rev to 8K either unless It is necessary to achieve my goal.If that's the case I am aware that I need to build the bottom end. The top end obviously get cams,IM etc. My goal is to achieve at least 300-350 whp . Am I crazy thinking I can achieve this N/A without spending upwards of 3-5K? I am a COMPLETE noob when it comes to FI. I understand how it works but I have NEVER messed with it thus why I am hesitant about going that route. If you suggest FI please fill me in as of why. Also if I need to go FI it would probably be a good idea to lower compression correct? ( Like I said I am a complete noob to FI so I'm not sure as to what a well built setup consists of.) Anyways I hope to get some decent feed back from both sides ( N/A and FI) educate me if you will :poke: If you are running FI what are you putting down WHP etc. As always I STRONGLY welcome constructive criticism  Thanks in advanced, Mark

It's rated at 260 so 260 at the crank. seeing in the ball park of 220-230 at the wheels. I want to put another 100 hp down on the road :gapteeth:
