Ive been searching but haven't found many cars with an n/a vh45. I was just wondering what kind of power people are making after what kind of n/a upgrades. Also, I am trying to decide on which would be better of a swap, a vh or a vq. i want to keep it N/a and be a good daily driver someday. Any information on what to expect out of a vh45 would be greatly helpful to my decision.

well you can do 340 HP easy with exhaust which youll have to do for the swap anyway and an ECU, that should be enough for a while on a S13..

340HP from a VH45 and 340HP from like a VQ or RB are COMPLETELY different, and thats torque...

Thanks for the input. Also, from what have gathered, the vh would be a much easier swap out of the two, correct? If so I'm pretty much sold on a vh.

RB would be a easier swap IMO. But you wouldn't want a NA RB, because that would be crap as :p Unless you did a RB30DE, but RB30 bottom ends are stupid prices over there in teh states aren't they? Here we can get them for about $100

If it was me I would go a RB25DET.
