I have a '90 z32 N/A, have never added a turbo to a N/A vehicle before, wondering if the addition would be worth the risk till i get farther into my build or am i better off running N/A till i find a swap option. thoughts?

Not worth it. Sell your car and buy a TT if you can afford it. The cheaper option if you have the skills is to swap a good condition used or rebuilt DETT in. Adding FI to an NA comes with a specific set of issues due to the engine being high compression (at least by 90s standards). If you're doing a $30k engine build then its a different story but if you're on a budget and not hunting after a ton of power a stock TT swap should do nicely. Finding a wrecked TT or a front clip is best because it contains all the ancillaries you will need.

It warm my heart that even after all these years and with so many other "better" vehicles on the market, this question still gets asked from time to time. Love seeing the Z32 love.

Z1 Motorsports has a guide online. It's not just an engine.

Quite a few people have added the turbo setup to the NA engine. It's 100% doable and makes sense IF you completely understand what you're doing. The car needs to be tuned for appropriately and really is best when E85 is used for added safety. Theres tons of information out there on it if you search.

This should help, bro. I'm doing the same in the spring. Goodluck, and make sure to record all the mistakes so I can learn from them :chuckle:
