ok i am not that familiar with the 300zx i have 3 240sx's and am looking for a new project car. A guy near me has a 91 N/a for 700 bucks. I havent looked at it yet but i doubt it runs. I am wondering if it is possible to TT a N/A? If it is i know i will have to swap harness and ecu, and i think i read something about the exhaust not being the same either. are the internals in the engine the same, or would i actually have to swap the motor? Any other information on this topic would be great to.

I did search to but didnt find much.

TT = 2 of lots of high priced parts.

It's a big job and does cost a bunch, but can be done.

IMO: I would love a 90-96 300zx 2+2 w/ about 400~450rwhp TT motor.I like the 2+2 because its longer than the TT.

Email me about a clip, I have some in stock. I can also help you with the TT 3.70 diff and brakes if need be.

Is this the '91 listed on cars.com for $700?

Did that guy actually answer your phone calls? He never called me back, I've been bugging him for over a week.

The easiest route would definitely be to swap the engine, but why not just keep it NA? I've never seen anyone do an interesting NA Z32 buildup, but the potential is certainly there.

If your doing the conversion let me know because I'm right in the middle of mine, I would like to compare notes and ideas on the best ways around some of my issues. I'll start a thread about it soon, but I would like to knock off anything easy before I do. email is [email protected]

You can use a TT auto ecu in a N/A Manual. NOT the other way around for obvious reasons...
