Nice! Now if you would just throw in some Brian Crower 264 cams in there so we can see a solid dyno with those cams on a n/a ka.

Nice! Looks like you got vtec at 5k rpm. The weird thing is that at I actually feel a little boost on my n/a 240 at that rpm. almost vtecish

I did some searching and found another n/a ka dyno with the same bump up in hp at 5k rpm and someone said it was cause there was no knock sensor on the motor so the ecu retards timing until 5k then return back to original timing, hence the little hp boost. He also said if the knock sensor was back on the motor it would have made more power. So did you remove your knock sensor too?

so do you have some kind of intake or is it stock? those arent too bad for what you have done to it. i have almost the same. i have 2.5 exhaust and no port job. but i have a flywheel.

for the longest time i thought i might have had a compression issue because of that kick at 5K RPMS. Although, happens for me at 5600 consistently.

Those are good numbers for 94 octane.I made 162 whp on 95 octane and all emissions still intact, so your numbers aren't bad at all.

not to go off topic but how much does the the octane level affect performance levels on a 100% stock motor? JW if its worth it to buy the premium.

100% all stock motor with no ecu tuning, not much maybe a 1% gain using higher Octane.

Now if you tune your ecu, adjust a/fr's on a 100% bone stock motor maybe up to 2% gain in power.

Fully bolt on stock block and ecu tune maybe a 4% gain.

Thats pretty much what I have seen from this engine.
