Hi , I'm looking foward to a rebuilding my engine and getting at least a mid 14 time at the track what mods do you people recommend , not planning on going turbo because I will daily drive my s13 to college ,a 2 hour trip monday-friday .... anyway I want some power on the engine not something to get me killed , any ideas ??

you wont see more than 200hp without a turbo or supercharger. so bolt ons your way to go. but to even get close to 200hp you have dump like 5-6 grand in goodies and machine work. i don't see that 14 happening without a 400 wet shot, or some kind of forced induction.

low 15's are possible with the ka. especially if you build it with the single cam pistons. But getting to mid 14's would be very hard. lowest time i seen one run is 14.9 down here in Florida.
