That's all I have for now, I'm saving up to rebuild the motor. It burns oil at roughly half a quart a week.

Use duplicolor hihgt temp engine paint, gloss black. then just makesure you clean the suface really really good prep and stuff. you can use vaselline (sp) and put it over the letter tops so you dont get paint on teh letter faces. then spray a good 5-6 coats an it will look great. when your done and its all dry jsut wipe off the vasalnine and out coems teh letter face.

interesting, i might have to look into this, the vaseline is a good idea, i take it you put it on fairly thin, what would you use to put it on that thin and that precise, maybe a q-tip or something?

looks like 26mm z32 calps, my guess is you put the white on around the lettering first then traced the black around it

yup Qtip works great. make sure you do it thin or any of it hanging off the edges will make it so the paint doesnt get inbetween all the little spaces and stuff.

blech.

Nitrous is not naturally aspirated. Naturally aspirated means the engine is breathing on it's own, without any help (hence the term naturally aspirated). N20 is a form of forced induction.

Another thing you can do instead of the vasoline is to paint it all regular and then use some very fine sandpaper and fold it several times and sand the paint off the letters. I did it on my 300zx calipers. Finish it off w/ some aluminum polish to protect the exposed aluminum and make shiny;)

For my valve cover i just used the spray right out of the can, i did coats every 15 minutes four an hour , and then had it sit under a heat lamp, Over night, then i let it cure for about a day or so, then i slapped it on. The engine heat cures the process a little faster, I did the paint around march, and i havent had one single crack or flake in it since. The paint i used was the stuff i think whats his face was saying. Duplicolor High heat engine paint. Its cheap and quality stuff. I was impressed with results.

Yeah, I know me and my friends always race eachother NA, but I picked up a zex kit for a price I couldnt pass up so it just sits there most of the time, and then if somebody with a V8 or a turbo or something wants to race then I'll open her up.But I consider my car NA, I have it tuned for optimum power without n20 so if I do run the juice I have to pick up some race gas or it will detonate

Did you get a cometic head gasket cause its thicker? I have SOHC pistons and a couple of DOHC motors that need rebuilds, my main concern with this has always been whether there would be any piston to valve interference/contact. So what I am asking is do you have to run a thicker head gasket to swap in 90 SOHC pistons?
