Well, I've had my z for a couple months now and it has some issues that I'm not sure of that hopefully I can get some thoughts on. For one I believe there's some sort of vacuum leak when the car warms up, cause when it's cold it's way more torqy. And for my second issue, once my car is warm and I turn it off and turn it back on, it'll often times have the engine light come on, sputter and idle rough, and then disappear shortly after. I figured maybe it could be a vvt solenoid but I'm not sure. Hopefully you guys know what's up

for the vac issue, that's a pretty straight forward fix, but as for the engine light, if your car is a 96, hook a a scan tool to her an she will talk, if its a 90- 95, gotta get alil more personal with it, and get to the computer under the passanger floor pannel and use the fsm and a stuby screw driver and the lights will tell you, but my guess is a dirty or dying MAF sensor or a faulty TPS

The only code I have is an egr. And the issue will fix itself after 30 seconds or so or after restarting the car sometimes. I don't believe the egr has that much effect

Well the car started holding rpms at 2000rpm. So I got home and pulled the codes, my 32 as well as a new 51 showed up. I guess a new set are soon to be ordered.

Ummm, be sure to check your idle circuit, most notably the IACV which suffers from a lot of problems and causes the issue you mention as well as CTS, and PTU harness if the connectors are corroded. The FSM has good help there...pretty much guaranteed you find corrosion on a lot of connectors, nearly 100% chance.

I'll run through and check all those connectors and the iacv. There's no serious symptoms that could indicate it. If it is an injector that's done for I'm thinking maybe going with tt injectors, ecu remap and putting on my thermal research & development exhaust for maybe a 20hp gain? The tt injectors are like $30 cheaper than n/a through conceptz, and the remanufactured are trash

Well, I suppose I'm holding off on the tt injectors, I found a place down here that will rebuild them for $170. I'm assuming that's having them tested as well. Since I'll have the top disassembled I'll replace my intake gasket, throttle body gaskets, egr delete, water bypass and my valve cover gaskets. Is there anything else y'all suggest attending to while I'm here?

Sounds like you have it all figured out! (not...)
Good Luck!
