so i have a new walbro fuel pump thats just sitting on my desk taking up space. what would happen if i went ahead and put it in while still N/A?

A) nothing. just a new fuel pump to replace the old one?

B) Rich?

C) put it in and play with timing and maybe get a little extra power????

but i really only want to put it in to get it off my desk, and hey, its a new part, so why not? right?

A.

yes it is capable of more flow, but your stock pressure regulator will keep it at stock fuel pressure.

I think this is how it works: you have a fuel line going to your engine from the fuel pump. Your engine uses what it needs and sends the extra back thru a return fuel line. So with the extra lph you would just be pumping more fuel than needed and you would be adding extra electric draw to your elec. system costing power. Unless your engine needs the extra fuel from power adders, I would stick w/ the stock but that is just me.
