Hey im new to the sight but not to Forums. (Nissanclub crashed on my comp.)

Anyway i was talking to a kid with a 280 HP Integra. he has a 20lb boost turbo and a mythenol injection kit on it.

He talked about a kit from snowperformance.com that runs off of your windsheild washer fluid. Apparently washer fluid is 50% mythenol and 48% water and 2% soap and ***t.

So this kit taps into your intake to shoot mythenol directly into ur intake and mix with the air and fuel. This helps boost octane to about 110 says the kid.

The kit that we have to use is a MAF kit that draws power off of that to know when to shoot the mythenol into the intake.

Can anyone let me know if they have used this personally or has seen this work??? im not quite sure i believe him.

Any Opinions Welcome!!!

(BTW im droppin the 03 2.5 SL loaded)

I fill my gas tank with window washer fluid. The winter pink blend is best

The reason he is running "methanol" is because he needs knock resistance for the 20 psi he's running in a high compression motor. You putting methanol in your stock QR25 won't do crap. Alcohol isn't a power adder, it is more of a power enabler.

There are good kits out there that are boost dependent. They have a solenoid that will open a valve wider for higher boost so it isn't a single methanol flow rate. That causes bogging when the system first engages because it would be set up for the highest boost condition.

btw I'm pretty sure you mean snowperformance.net.

snowperformance.com is a ski website.

Here's a good kit for about half of what snow performance is asking:http://www.coolingmist.com/det...=1005

Darius: Good call on that .net thing lol and thank you for correcting.

and i looked at the MAF option on snowperformance.net and that was really expensive lol.

So is this something that any of you guys would consider doing?

Oh, and thank you for the link i was looking for that!!

I may consider doing it on my RB when I'm pushing >25 psi, but the only way it will help the QR25 is if it had been rebuilt with high compression pistons or it was turbo'd to high heaven.

So to answer your question, not on any QR.
