Anyone know what these 3 wires are? I thought they went to the O2 sensor, but the colors don't match up. I can't find what they are on my diagrams. They are brown, blue, and white (incased in shielding). Thanks!

uuum, can you trace them and see where they go? maybe the transmission speed sensor? if you have the fsm you can look at the ecu diagram page and check the colors against the pins to see where they go. maybe the temp. sensor on the block? again, i dont have a clue...

They are for your O2 sensor.

Gotta be for the O2. There aren't that many sheilded wires in the loom.

GENERALLY (I could be wrong) brown is 12V+, the blue is going to be ground, and the sheilded wire is the signal. I'm not at home so I don't have my FSM in front of me to check.

EDIT: OK, I DL'd the FSM, WHICH YOU SHOULD HAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER ANYWAY AND CAN LOOK THIS UP YOURSELF, And very plainly, as shown on the last page of the FSM, Brown is 12V+, blue goes back to the ecu (and ultimatly to ground), and the shielded wire is white, and is the signal wire.

The CA uses a 3 wire heated O2 sensor.

Alright, I should be able to figure it out from there. The O2 wires are not the same colors, hence my problem. Thanks!

No, the wires on the actual O2 sensor will probably be red, white, and black. Don't ask me which is which as I have no idea.

FSM can be found here:

Float is right, the brown and blue wires are for the heater on the o2, it doesn't really matter which way they are hooked up though, one has to be a 12v and one has to be a ground, it doesn't matter which one is which, it works either way. The shielded wire is the signal though.

Generally, the white wire coming off of the o2 is the signal and the red and back are for the heater.

.I agree, but I hate to say it's that way and then have someone accidentally put 12V+ into the signal wire. That'll kill that O2 sensor instantly.

True, thats why I said generally, I would definitly try to varify that before wiring anything up though.
