*My browser fudged up and it erased my whole post. So it'll be much shorter than the original.... **

First, I replaced the vacuum lines a couple weeks ago. However, I recently found while cleaning my MAF; a hose that I missed. It comes out the bottom of the AIV solenoid. I don't know where it goes.(All images and diagrams from manuals and such say that it goes to the intake front...Now, the old vacuum hose was just hanging there not connected to anything. Where does it go? does it just hang free?

Second, while I was cleaning the MAF. I came across what looks likes another hood pin switch. It was forced and taped down/closed(I found out that this was the switch for the alarm). It has 2 wires - Black;black/Pink. I hooked it back up to the bracket, still no alarm(I've been having problems already with the alarm). The other was the connector that was on the car originally when I got it. It is the one in wire loom and duct tape. It too has 2 wires - Black;White/Red. I can't find where it goes. I have looked in the manual and came back with nothing.

If anybody knows. please chime in. Thank You!

The stock alarm is a joke I wouldn't bother trying to make it work, most people just pull the fuse as it's so ineffective. The wire next to it might be the bundled lead that should be right next to the radiator for the auxiliary fan not found on US models. The vac hose I'm not even sure whats next to it? I removed all the emissions years ago so I don't recall what was where.

Do both hood pin switches go anywhere? I have a feeling one of those isn't really for a hood pin switch and the connector is supposed to attach to something else. As far as the vacuum line, you're going to have to download a factory service manual and start tracing.
