So there is a little black hose with blue writing I found just hanging near the battery and I can't figure out what it is supposed to attach to. Any advice is appreciated.

It is attached to to back edge of the engine bay and runs all the way across to the driver side to...

Looks like the tube runs to the gray box in the bottom right of the last picture. Im not sure what the box is either.

Does your factory boost gauge work? The little black box with the grey connector in the last pic is the OEM boost sending unit. That's most likely your factory boost gauge hose.

The boost gauge works. I don't think it goes to the Black box it's the one next to that that is all gray. I can't tell for sure I'm bringing some tools home with me later from work so I can get a better look. Someone else said mabey the AIV has been deleted and it's pretty common? Can anyone confirm that? And what is AIV?

AIV = Air induction valve, used to bring fresh air into the exhaust to pass emissions. Eliminated in 1993 IIRC.

I'm pretty sure the grey electrical box is your wiper control box, or has something to do with the wipers. If the hose goes into the wheel well through the hole below there, then it's for AIV.

Alright it probly just runs underneath that box to the fender I just couldn't tell with the light and the tight space. Update later with what I find. Thanks for the help.

Alright dug around and found the T it goes on. Looked at the exhaust and all the AIV stuff is connected so I don't think the guy who owned it did the delete... Must have just popped off. The car has an ecu so from what I've read it doesn't use the AIV anyway? Thanks for the replies.

All cars have ECUs :)

If you have a JWT Z1 etc ECU, then yes, it's eliminated.

To fully remove it you need to remove the pipes going to the cats, and the valves in the fender liner.

Contact this guy to get the plugs for the cats

So I had it reconnected and Started driving and noticed the check engine light was on so I pulled the hose back off the T restarted he car and now no CEL?? Why would it make it come on if it isn't being used?

And the ecu is a JWT.
