About 2" from fuse panel cover located above "dead pedal". toward rear of car, there is a mini chrome toggle switch mounted in the kick panel. Anyone have an idea what this is for? Car alarm off/on, a kill switch to prevent carjacking since fuel pump relay and ignition relay are on the fuse panel under the cover, or ???. Have owned car for over 10 years and never noticed it till I was looking for fuse panel/standing on my head under dash. Pretty sure its not factory installed, but was installed neatly. Thanks for any ideas/thoughts on what its for.

More than likely an old school car alarm. Most of them had them 10 years ago, probably still do, just been a while since I have installed one.

Have you tried to toggle the switch, and start the car?? try it and see what happens.
Pretty hard to suggest someting over the internet if its installed by previous owners.

With that said, I found a toggle switch under my foot well also, took me about 2 years to figure it out.
It was to disable the power antena from going up.
