OP, I'm sure you didn't to use "fag" as an insult, because implying that being gay is somehow a negative thing is mean. I'm sure we have gay people on this forum, as new members are frequently put through the "Mr. Happy Pants" ritual. But it doesn't hurt for very long and it results in a sense of comradery.
