I finally put her away for winter and when i was looking under the hood to see what i want to do over the winter i noticed a metal pipe left un-capped. See i just had a GT28R put on after the T28 blew and i thought this pipe was some how for that old turbo. I figure because the other end of it feeds in to the back of the on the intake manifold. Anyone know what it is for and what to do for now?

Oh ya i never had a boost leak with it sitting un-capped.

looks like the coolant feed line for the turbo that runs along the back of the motor.

Yes the new turbo is hooked up and running, i bet the pipe is not a coolant line the other side of the line goes in to the intake manifold. Alright, ill try blocking it off then. Thanks guys

it is not needed, i forget what it was for but it was just anothe rusless vacum that if i remmeber correctly pluged into the intake pipe or was on the boost solenoid! its been i while since i have seen a stock ca18, but none the less it is not needed
