I'm almost done installing an Fmax Stage Two Kit on my '96 240 but i can't figure out the function of two hoses that i might need to re-route. They both originate near the throttle body, the thicker hose coming from above the throttle body and the smaller one coming from below. My main question is what do both of these hoses do? On the stock setup they both entered the intake stream before the throttle body and only saw vacuum. Since the Fmax kit routes the bigger hose to the same spot, that hose will now see both vacuum and boost. Any problems there? Also Fmax does not provide a mounting location for the other smaller hose ( that i can tell ), so i'm not sure what to do with that hose. Any setups or opinions are much appreciated.

the larger hose is supposed to go into the ic piping like the kit has it. the smaller hose you can just plug.

what do you do with the other 2 vacume hoses that go to where the smog stuff used to be (drivers side fender) I took out all that smog stuff, and now im left with 2 vacume hoses and also when you say "plug them" how do you do this, put jb weld, or silicone in it?

I've finished re-routing both of them; now the smaller one to the intake after the MAF so it see's vacuum like it used to and the larger one to where the Fmax kit put it. I'm just curious now as to what both of the hoses do. I tried looking through the FSM but i couldnt find a description.
