mystery connector off of ka24e engine harness

i cannot seem to figure out waht this connector connects to. i have looked at all the harness diagrams in the FSM and im stumped. it looks like a 3 pin extension harness with a ground leading out

Where in the harness did you find it?

I can't think of too many things that have 3 pins, TPS is all that comes to mind.

tps and maf are the only 3 pin connectors i can think of in the ka engine bay. i honestly dont remember where it was connected to i just remember it was on the right side of the engine bay. i just recently rebuilt the top end of my ka and basically was relying on the BGB for all the harness and sensor connections rather than memory, that connector really looks unnecessary unless something would benefit from having an extra ground. the car runs fine without it other than a vacuum leak so i dont know.

I don't know much about the SOHC engine, but this seems like it may be the part you have. It plugs into the distributor. The long wire is probably a hacked in ground wire. I had to do the same to my MAFC connector.

leper421 Sorry but not the correct part. I have two SOHC engins and that part looks nothing like his photos. I don't recgocnize the harness at all.

It kinda looks like the plug for the MAFS.

That connector labeled 22309, does it connect to anything? If so, what?
